SIMCHAT BEIT HASHOEIVA/SUKKAH PARTY
Sun, Sep 26th, 4:30pm - 6:15pm
Celebrate Sukkot with CBAJ and Congregation Shomray Torah at the CBAJ Sukkah! Live music by Golfstrom Band, dancing, lawn games for children, a magic and science show (for kids grades k-6), and light refreshments!
SHEMINI ATZERET/SIMCHAT TORAH AT CBAJ
Yizkor is recited on Tuesday, September 28, during morning services (services begin 9 am).
On Simchat Torah, all services will be indoors, masks required. Weather permitting, food service and dancing will take place outdoors.
Simchat Torah Evening: Services with Hakafot begin at 6:25 pm. Pizza dinner to follow, approximately 8:30 pm.
Simchat Torah Morning: Services with Hakafot begin at 9 am. The Ungerman family breakfast and lunch will be served. A special thanks to Joshua and Amanda Gurock for organizing.
There will be a parallel women's Torah service at approximately 11 am in the Carr Chapel.
YOUTH PROGRAMMING
Youth Goups for kids in grades k-5 begin on Shemini Atzeret (Tuesday, September 28), 10-11 am. Groups will run each Shabbat morning at 10-11 am.
On Simchat Torah (Wednesday, September 29), groups will be 11 am-12 pm.
Groups will be led by our youth director, Jack Hartstein, and teen youth leaders.

Albany NCSY will run a jam-packed Simchat Torah for teens. See attached flyer for full details.
Monday, September 27, 7:30 pm: Senior NCSY dinner following maariv.
Tuesday, September 28, after hakafot: Teen Oneg with singing and desserts (for Junior and Senior NCSY).
Wednesday, September 29, following morning services: Kiddush Conversations (Senior NCSY).
Wednesday, September 29, 3:30-5:30 pm: Hang out at the Pond (Junior and Senior NCSY).

New Offerings: Fall 2021 JFS Support Groups
JFS has launched new virtual groups to help: teens “unload;” parents with day-to-day challenges; caregivers with information sharing; older adults with staying safe & connected; grief & loss; pandemic stress; and feeling down and disconnected.
JFS is helping homebound seniors with kosher meal delivery, grocery shopping and delivery and more. If you would like to volunteer 1-2 hours per week to help a senior, please click here for more information.
