SPEAKER Shabbat morning: Rabbi Kean will deliver a Dvar Torah on Parshat Bamidbar. Shabbat lunch: Divrei Torah from CBAJ children. Between Shabbat Mincha and Maariv for the first night of Shavuot, Rabbi Kean will deliver a lecture titled: What is the Oral Torah? The Tikkun Leil Shavuot will feature speakers from the community (see schedule below). At Shacharit on the Second Day of Shavuot (Monday, when Yizkor is recited), Rabbi Kean will deliver a Dvar Torah titled:

EREV SHAVUOT and ALL-NIGHT LEARNING SATURDAY NIGHT, JUNE 4
On Shavuot night (Sat., June 4), following 8:10 pm evening services, there will be a light dairy dinner (approximately 9:30 pm).
CBAJ's Tikkun Leil Shavuot (all night learning) will start after dinner.
Learning for the community will feature shiurim from Rabbi Kean, community members, and guest speakers.
NCSY's Tikkun Leil Shavuot for teens will be led by Jack Hartstein. The night ends with sunrise Shacharit at 4:50 am on Sunday morning.

There will NOT be youth groups on the first day of Shavuot, Sunday, June 5.

JFS has launched their Spring 2022 schedulefor a variety of support groups for all ages, facilitated by JFS clinical staff. Groups are held via Zoom or over the phone.
JFS-CBAJ Volunteer Partnership CBAJ invites you to volunteer with one of JFS's programs to support seniors and vulnerable individuals in our community. Volunteer opportunities are time flexible, and include participation in the Capital District's kosher Meals on Wheels program, volunteer transportation for seniors, and grocery shopping for homebound seniors. Unpacking Israel Series for Jewish High School Students The Federation invites Jewish teens to participate in an exciting new interactive program with OpenDor Media to explore what Israel means to them personally. If you feel sick at all, please exercise good judgment and stay home rather than attending services, regardless of vaccine status.
We still request those who are able to help our Minyan status register for weekday and Friday and Shabbat afternoon services, so that we can continue to confirm a Minyan for those times. A registration email is sent weekly.
