TORAH READING Genesis: 25:19 - 28:9 Artscroll p.124 Haftarah: Malachi 1:1 - 2:7, p. 1137 SPEAKER Rabbi Kean will deliver a Dvar Torah on Shabbat morning KIDDUSH This Shabbat Kiddush is sponsored by CBAJ.
MESSAGE FROM RABBI KEAN
Dear CBAJ Family,
On behalf of Congregation Beth Abraham-Jacob, I would like to wish you and your family a restful and meaningful Shabbat.
I want to thank each and every one of you who made the effort to attend either the solidarity rally for Israel in Albany or the Americans March for Israel rally in Washington, DC (or both!).
Showing our support makes a tremendous impact, by showing our fellow Jews in Israel the depth of our care for them and by demonstrating to our elected officials the importance we place on our country's continued alliance with and support for Israel.
Personally, it was deeply meaningful to be able to attend both and stand with Israel both as a committed local community and also in Washington's historic gathering of the pro-Israel and Jewish community - the largest of its kind in Jewish-American history.
I hope to see you soon at a tefilah, children's program, event, or class! Am Yisrael Chai.
Shabbat Shalom, Rabbi Ben Kean
