MESSAGE FROM RABBI KEAN
Dear CBAJ Family,
On behalf of Congregation Beth Abraham-Jacob, I would like to wish you and your family a restful and meaningful Shabbat.
Please join me in welcoming Dr. Sara Ronis for what promises to be a wonderful and engaging scholar-in-residence Shabbat.
Thank you to everyone for joining in our celebrations of Yom HaAtzmaut and commemorations of Yom HaZikaron. In partnership with the OU, we are participating in theB'yachad Lanetzachinitative with synagogues across the country to commemorate IDF soldiers who fell in service since October 7th. When you come to CBAJ this Shabbat, please take a moment to look at the plaque commemorating a fallen soldier by our bulletin board, think about him, say a prayer, or commit to a mitzvah on his behalf. May this small tribute be a merit on behalf of all those who have fallen in service of Israel's Defense Forces. I hope to see you soon at a tefilah, children's program, event, or class!
Am Yisrael Chai.
Shabbat Shalom, Rabbi Ben Kean
